Weird sound what was it? Maybe a UFO?
Hi everyone,
I’ve just joined to post but have been reading the forums and Miriam’s blog for a couple of months now. I was hoping that someone would have an idea of what was going on with me a few mornings ago. I felt changed by the following, but am still not exactly sure what it was.
“As has been happening all too frequently I was awakened by a ‘power-surge’ aka hot flash. They’ve been getting so bad that I sometimes break out in a sweat, like I did this time. Suddenly I was wide-awake. I went to the bathroom then crawled back into bed, but sat up instead of lying down. It was then I heard a noise. It sounded like wind, but it was constant. I tilted my head trying to determine the source of the sound. It wasn’t the heater and again, it didn’t really seem like wind because of its constancy and the fact that I can usually hear creaks from the house and the trees moving. I took out my earplugs and could still hear the sound, except there was no wind. The house seemed to be surrounded by infinite quiet (as it should be at 3:30 – 4:00 in the morning), separated from the sound. The whole thing had become quite eerie and I decided to look out the window. The sky was a deep blue that seemed lighter than it should be at that time, but I thought it was perhaps because of the moon. All the trees and plants were resting peaceably – no wind or any other form of movement. I felt a crawling up my spine as the thought went through my mind that perhaps there was a spaceship hovering above the house. I went back to bed and eventually fell asleep. When I awoke the next morning I had the strangest feeling that I would find everything completely changed when I walked out the door. It wasn’t, but I was out of it all day, in a total fog.”
Any ideas about this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all of you :)
Miriam’s reply: I am not sure what you experienced. What i would suggest is that you go into a meditation over it and see what comes up. It does sound like you experienced something though. Sound is a powerful thing and it can control us, change us and make us crazy, heal and all sorts of things. So for that reason I suggest you go into meditation and ask what happened if anything that night. No one can tell you for sure what you experienced except YOU. So be careful of that. By the way.. welcome to the site…..Love Miriam

Thank you Miriam :)
Hi Willow,
What you describe is incredibly similar to one I had back in the nineties. It was almost as if the world had ever so slightly shifted into another reality.
One profound difference to your experience was that I had levitated above my bed – I know this because normally I would not be able to see out of the window whilst lying in bed. The view was very similar to the one you describe.
Another difference was one of experiencing the most incredible surge of positive energy through my stomach and spine – I could not determine if the energy was coming out of or emanating from me.
I have no idea what it was but have spent years trying to find out if anyone else has had a similar experience, but to no avail.
And no, It wasn’t a dream – but whatever it was it was a tremendous experience.
Thanks for sharing Willow
Hi Wisehaven,
Thank you for your comment. It helps to hear that someone else has had an experience like mine.
When I meditated on the experience I determined that it was a sort of barrier protecting at least the
part of the city where I live. I could not determine if the whole city was protected, but am certain it
was more than just my home. Getting that information from meditating and hearing about your experience
made me feel loved and protected.
Take care
Sounds like a drastic increase in blood pressure is a likely candidate. Blood vessels to the brain (or is it from) run right by the hearing parts of your ear, and so it can make a whooshing sounds when your blood pressure is high. It doesn’t necessarily beat. I get this rarely, but sometimes. Another possibility is the certain types of electromagnetics will produce an audible sound by interacting with your skull. An “electromagnetic sound” of this kind will be audible inside your had, but not to others standing around. Unless they’re also “in the beam”. The military has some new “non-lethal” cannons based on this idea. You can make a crowd hear a nasty loud noise or even command that no one else can hear, so you don’t blow your own ears out. Tested on 9/11 truthers in Pittsburgh, pretty sure.
Hey Wisehaven,
The “stomach and spine” nature of your experience, along with the positive energy, would be considered by some an indication of a Kundalini experience. Look it up using both of those words, because Kundalini is the name of a whole bunch of stuff, sadly even some commercial products. David Icke has a nice story about what he viewed as a Kundalini experience of his own. Some similarities to your own, but like another octave level above, as befitting a famous television personality.
Hi Don,
I know for sure that it wasn’t an increase in blood pressure – it is controlled by medication. The sound wasn’t a whooshing sound. It also came from outside my head. Thank you for your suggestions though.
Take care
